We are a community of expatriate women and men living in St Petersburg, Russia, and our main objective is to provide support and friendship to other expats living in this wonderful city. Membership
Membership is open to all women and men living in St Petersburg who hold foreign passports. A limited percentage of the total membership is reserved for women who hold only Russian passports.
The membership year runs from September to August the following year. All members must pay an annual membership fee. There is a reduced rate for those who join in the middle of the IWC year (January).

Who We are
The International Women’s Club (IWC) of St Petersburg is a club for expatriate women and men living in St Petersburg. It was founded in 1986 and is comprised primarily of foreigners, with a small Russian membership.
What We Do
The IWC is first and foremost a social club; our primary objective is to provide support and friendship to expats living in St Petersburg. For many people, moving to and living in Russia can be challenging and confusing. We do what we can to alleviate this stress by providing a network of women and men in a similar situation and, even better, ones who have been through the newcomer's shock and have valuable tips on how to embrace and enjoy this adventure.
We also contribute to the community in which we live by assisting various St Petersburg based charity organisations.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Our executive committee has members from all over the world who make sure our members feel at home and our operations run smoothly.
CHARITY COMMITTEE
The Charity Committee is responsible for distributing the IWC charity funds. The Charity Committee reviews in detail and then votes on each request submission made to the IWC.
